Manager of Utilities

The Town of Virden is accepting applications for the full-time position of Manager of Utilities. 

Under the general direction of the Operations and Facilities Manager, the position oversees and manages the full spectrum of utility services (water and wastewater) and supervises Operations staff with certifications in any of the four water and wastewater operator disciplines. They will assist the Operations and Facilities Manager with the direction and work planning for Utilities. They will be expected to communicate professionally with both residents and contractors.  The position will provide administrative support and assistance to the Operations and Facilities Manager in this area.
